RYAN HALL NO GI JIU JITSU SEMINAR

RYAN HALL NO GI JIU JITSU SEMINAR

Ryan Hall is a Black Belt under 2-time world champion, Felipe Costa, Ryan Hall is one of the most successful American-born Jiu-Jitsu players to date. Since beginning his competitive career in July of 2004, Ryan has cemented himself as one of the most promising up-and-coming submission grapplers in the world, defeating some of the sport’s greatest champions along the way (including UFC fighters and Black Belt World Champions, many of whom have been training decades longer than he has). Ryan is a CBJJ Mundial (world) and European champion who has also medaled at the Brazilian Nationals and twice been invited to compete at the ultra-prestigious Abu Dhabi Submission Wrestling World Championship where he is one of only a handful of American competitors to have come home with a medal.

In addition to his competitive exploits, Ryan is an accomplished coach, highly sought after for expert seminars all over the world. When Ryan isn’t training for competitions or learning from world class athletes from around the United States and the globe, he can often be found instructing Jiu-Jitsu and Combatives workshops for the United States military, helping to prepare the soldiers for any unarmed situation they may face while in the field. Ryan’s students have competed successfully at the local, national, and international levels, rising rapidly through the ranks. He has also produced a series of instructional DVDs that have garnered wide acclaim and is the author of “How To Master The Triangle Choke,” the definitive resource for training information regarding this signature technique of Jiu-Jitsu

On February 24th 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Ryan will be holding No GI Jiu Jitsu seminar at CMMAA: 2681 Ft. Campbell BLVD right outside Gate 2. For the price of $50 you can train with Ryan Hall. Come join the fun!

CMMAA's New Location and details

WE will be open February 7th, 2011

CMMAA has found a new home right outside of Gate 2 in the old Quantico Arms building. It is 8500 square feet which means more training room and more options for the students.

I'm sure by now every one has heard the exciting news of our move!! The new facility is located right outside gate 2. It is not only bigger than the building we have now, but it has much more useable space!

As with any new move, there are going to have to be a few changes in the way the office and the classes are run in order that we can keep everything running as smooth as possible for our current students and for future students. Some of it may be big, most of them fairly minor, but necessary nonetheless. Please bear with every one these first few weeks while we work on the new systems to work out the glitches!

To begin with, as soon as you come in the building please head to the office and sign yourself or your children in. We want to make sure every one is safe, and in that regard, we need to keep better track of who is coming and who is training.

Anyone who comes for the first time will need to present an ID to be copied- even if you bring your friends, or if they come to watch. It is part of the safety system - especially for the children.

Parents do not need to stay during their child(ren)'s class time. However, if you are more than 15 minutes late, the first time it happens you will be required to sign a childcare form and give a credit card number to be charged for childcare services if it happens again. I know it seems steep- but imagine if you as the instructor had to hang around during class waiting for a parent who comes in 30 or more minutes late. Especially if that instructor had other plans or also needed to get home to his/her family.

We will so have a babysitting system in place for parents who are training. The hours will be 4:25 pm to 7:00 pm Monday through Thursday. The workers will be certified in CPR & first aid. The children must be enrolled with a signed waiver to be in that area. Because of this, we will need to keep any other children not in class strictly with their parents. It is too easy for children to wander out or follow another child out when they see other kids wandering about. Not only that, but it is dangerous for the kids with other people training and too much equipment to get hurt on. This applies for my children as well :-) We will be doing our best to keep our kids in their designated area too.

Please keep personal gym bags in the locker room or designated areas so that no one trips over them or so that they don't get lost. And PLEASE put your name on all of your personal equipment. We cannot be responsible for lost, misplaced or stolen Gi's, work out gear or any personal items. We are also going to become more protective of the gym equipment. Over the years many many training items have "disappeared" that were valuable to the training of students. We want to keep personal costs down to students so that you all don't have to pay so much for personal training gear such as mitts, pads and weight equipment. However, in so doing, it often comes up missing. So please help us keep our gear by getting it put away and locked up after class.

Brandon Adams and his wife Ali will begin working in the office! She will begin taking payments, helping with gear, equipment, and general information. The office hours will be Monday night through Thursday night from 4:30-7:15. Cara and Jen will also be available, however, please try to talk to Brandon first if you can.

We will also be offering Zumba classes when we begin in the new building! Anyway is welcome to attend. Miss Kariny Sander is the instructor and she's amazing!! Because of the nature of Zumba classes, all of her classes are separate from the CMMAA contract.

They are paid on a per class basis of $3 per class. However, Kariny is very well connected with Fort Campbell and on more than one occasion has donated all her class money for the day, or even week to help the widows of soldiers who recently passed in the war. So give her class a try! We'll be posting her schedule soon. The plan is to begin classes in the new facility on Monday, February 7th. Again, please be patient with us as we get through the new building and the new office procedures and everything. Thank you all in advance and we look forward to the new building and what the new year brings!!
